The 1st Meeting of the Monitoring Committee for the Small Project Fund took place on the 27th of July, 2018 at the premises of the Pest county government office.

Dr. Gábor Popovics, an employee of the Pest county Government office, welcomed the members (representatives of the Managing Authority, the Hungarian Government Office, the National Authority – the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic, Komárom-Esztergom county, Pest county, Győr-Moson-Sopron county, Bratislava, Trnava and Nitra Region) and observers of the Monitoring Committee for the SPF. He stated that this meeting is a historical event. The Rába-Duna-Vág European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation as the Leading Partner of the project ”Interreg SKHU Small Project Fund in the Western border region“ has taken over the role of an implementing body and brought the decision making process closer to the citizens, individual regions and organizations.

The meeting was chaired by the Grouping’s directress, Ms. Ema Vasiová, who is also the Chairman of the Monitoring Committee for the Small Project Fund. The Management documentation for the implementation of the Small Project Fund has been approved during the meeting by the members of the Monitoring Committee for the SPF.
